Healthy Soup

This is a superior energy replenishing soup with the effects of strengthening all five vital organs in the body. Below are the ingredients to make this wonderful healthy soup. Once all the ingredients are wash, cleaned, and prepared, the next step is to put all the ingredients into a big pot of water (at least 5-8 litres of water) and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours. When ready, discard all the ingredients and drink the soup.

Chinese Yam
10 pieces Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Lung

Fox Nuts
3oz Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Spleen & Kidneys

Lotus Seed
2 tablespoons With skin. Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Heart

Dried Lily Bulbs

1 handful Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Stomach

Radix Giehniae

10 pieces Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Spleen, Kidneys & to sooth Lungs

Solomon's Seal

1 handful Wash in clean cold water before use Tonic for Liver & Heart

Fresh/Dried Chestnut

9 pieces With skin.

Pork Spinal Bones

5-6 pieces With marrow, soak in boiling water for 3-4 minutes before use.

Lean Pork (Shank)   3/4 lb

Dried Abalone
1 piece Soak in day old tea overnight. Clean with brush and remove black tip. Before use, soak in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Boil again in water until soft then use entire content.

Dried Conch
1-3 pieces Soak in boiling water with a few slices of ginger for 3-4 minutes before use.

Pork Spleen
3 average size pieces Salted with sea salt over night. Before use, soak in boiling water for 3-4 minutes.

Dried Pork Tendons

5-9 pieces Soak in hot water for a few minutes before use. (Optional)

Dried Scallops
1-3 pieces Wash before use.

Dried Fish Maw
1-3 small pieces Soak in boiling water with a few slices of ginger for 3-4 minutes before use.

Salted Walnuts
1 handful Dissolve 1/2 teaspoonful of coarse salt in 1 cup of water and sprinkle bit by byt onto 1 pound of walnut in a warm wok, cool and store in a jar until use.( Optional )

Green Papaya    1 whole

Yellow Fungus
2-3 pieces Soak overnight. Cut in half & remove centre if desired. (Optional )

White Fungus
pieces Soak overnight. Cut in half & remove centre if desired. (Optional )
