Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used medical procedures in the world. Originating in China more than 2,000 years ago, acupuncture became widely known in North America in 1971 when New York Times reporter James Reston wrote about how doctors in Beijing, Chine, used needles to ease his abdominal pain after surgery.
Research shows that acupuncture, the practice of inserting small needles into the skin at meridian points; regulating the flow of Qi (Chee), is a highly beneficial treatment for a variety of health conditions. Highly successful in the field of pain management, acupuncture has been used around the globe as a viable drug free alternative, offering little to no side effects to the patient.
